Effective Test Leadership

Short description

In the fast-paced world of software development, effective test coordination and management are critical to success. As more organizations adopt agile methodologies, it is increasingly important to implement best practices in leading test teams and test strategies that align with your development teams and their way of working.

‘Effective Test Leadership’ is a training course that aims to equip quality (test) leaders with the skills and knowledge required to effectively lead and manage testing efforts in any development environment; whether it be Agile, traditional or in transition to Agile. The course covers topics such as test approach, strategy, planning, risk-based testing, team collaboration and organisation, test automation, metrics and reporting. Participants will learn how to lead testing teams, adapt their testing strategies and practices to fit within the development framework, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure high-quality software delivery through effective testing practices.

To help organizations achieve success in testing, we use our own ‘QA maturity model’ as a framework to guide participants through all important topics and best practices, with a strong emphasis on the concept of ‘shift-left’ testing. By implementing a flavor of the shift-left QA approach tailored to test projects and development environments, organizations can identify and address issues early in the development process, leading to more efficient and cost-effective testing processes.

QA leads who can effectively coordinate and manage testing projects and teams are critical to success in software development, regardless of the methodology used. This training provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement best practices in leading test teams and test strategies effectively, and unlocks their full potential!

Do you want to read more about this? Here is a blog about effective quality assurance: the power of test coordination and management with a shift-left approach.

Quick info
