Say goodbye to cancelled or postponed trainings
Trainings with an ACTIVE Start Guarantee always start. This provides certainty, confidence, and prevents disappointment.
Why? These trainings will not be canceled after booking*.
How do you know if a training offers Start Guarantee?
Look for the 📅 “Start Guarantee icon” on the course page and during registration. When it says “ACTIVE”, you can be sure the training will start.
Register today, because our training courses with Start Guarantee fill up quickly!
How will I know when the Start Guarantee becomes active?
Register! By doing so, you will be kept informed about that training and we are more likely to host it.
It doesn’t take many participants for a training to become “Start Guarantee: ACTIVE”!
*Trainings will only be canceled or postponed in the case of force majeure. Your registration will only be active after you have received an email confirmation and invoice.

What about CATERING?
Trainings and sessions that last a full day typically include a sandwich lunch.
You will find this information in the confirmation email.
If not included, it will be mentioned there as well.
What about DEVICES and SOFTWARE needed for courses?
The Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy applies to all practical training and sessions.
In case specific software installation or configuration instructions are required, they will be emailed to you in advance of the training.
What's the LANGUAGE used during the courses?
The courses are taught in Dutch or English (on request), and the course materials are in English.
French is also an option for some trainings.
Do I need to take an EXAM to complete your courses?
When an exam is mandatory to complete a course, it is mentioned specifically on the course details page.
This is mainly required for certification courses.
Our swITch to IT program requires you to complete exercises and make a final group assignment.

What's the CAMPUS or LOCATION of my course?
The location is specified on the event page linked to the course.
When no location is mentioned, the campus is not known yet, and will be chosen based on the participants registered for the course.

Do you provide IN-HOUSE or ONLINE training(s) or session(s)?
Yes, we can organize our courses wherever you want: on–site at your office, at a neutral location (e.g. a hotel), or in one of our campuses. There will be no extra charges for locations within Belgium. For locations further away or abroad, please contact us for a tailored offer.
Online is also possible! We have the tools and guarantee the same interaction as in a physical classroom.
You only need a computer with a proper network connection, no installations are required.

How do I REGISTER for ME (or MULTIPLE people)?
You can register via the course details page of the course you would like to participate in:
In case the event is planned:
- you click on the event at the bottom of the course detail page
- on the event page you can buy a ticket and add it to your shopping cart
- you can add more then one event to your shopping cart (multiple courses)
- proceed through checkout to register for the course(s)
- you will receive a confirmation email
- we will receive your registration and will double check all entered data
In case the event is not planned:
- you click on the event at the bottom of the course detail page
- on the event page you can RSVP for a date in the future (form)
- you will receive a confirmation message
- we will receive your registration and will double check all entered data
The same event, both planned (ticket) and not planned (RSVP), can be purchased or RSVPed multiple times. For example when you want to subscribe for more than 1 person.
When is my registration considered FINAL?
As soon as you receive a written communication via e-mail confirming your subscription, your reservation is final.
How do I PAY for my course registration(s)?
Have you successfully completed the checkout of your shopping cart? In that case you will receive a confirmation message.
We will receive your registration once you completed the checkout successfully. We will double check all entered data.
If you choose to pay by bank transfer, we ask you to pay the registration fee within 8 days.
If you wish to pay in instalments, please contact us.
I want to use the SME portfolio (KMO portefeuille), how does this work?
Brightest NV is a recognized training and advice provider. If your company pays for your training, they can apply for a subsidy via the SME portfolio (KMO portefeuille) and save up to 20-30%, with a maximum of € 7,500 per year.
In practice, this means for you as an organization that you can make use of our advice and training courses regarding Software quality control and all sub-domains with a government subsidy.
As a company you must fall under the SME (KMO) category (less than 250 employees; annual turnover max. 50 million euros) to make use of this subsidy measure. You can apply for this subsidy via www.vlaio.be.
Of course we are happy to help you with the registration & application to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
A payment via the wallet proceeds as follows:
- You register for a ticket “Pay via SME portfolio/KMO portefeuille” and receive a confirmation email from Brightest Academy
- You register and log in to kmo-portefeuille.be
- You submit a project application and enter the registration fee excluding VAT as the project amount (this amount can be found in the confirmation email from Brightest Academy or on our website).
- The portfolio indicates how much they subsidize and how much you have to pay.
- You pay your share (enter the structured message at the invoice number) and give permission to transfer the portfolio to our account.
- The payment of the SME portfolio (KMO portefeuille) to us takes an average of 14 calendar days.
- You pay the VAT directly to Brightest NV with the structured communication from the confirmation email.
- After 14 calendar days we receive your full payment, we prepare the invoice with the notification paid and send it to you.
Important info:
- The registration fee excluding VAT must be at least 100 euros.
- Your application must be made no later than 2 weeks after the start of the training.

Cancellation:
How can I CANCEL my registration(s)?
If you are not able to attend the training or session due to unforeseen circumstances, we request you to contact us as soon as possible.
Annulation conditions:
- A 85% refund will be given for cancellations received up to 60 days before the start of the training course.
- A 50% refund will be given for cancellations received between 59 days and 31 days before the start of the training course.
- A 25% refund will be given for cancellations received between 30 days and 15 days before the start of the training course.
- In case of cancellation within 14 days before the start of the training program, no refund will be given.
Whenever possible, we will try to find a solution that works for both of us, such as rescheduling the training.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances or force majeure, we may have to cancel a training. You will be contacted personally if that happens..
I cancelled, how do I get my REFUND?
Your registration will be canceled and processed administratively.
In the case of a refund, you will receive either a credit note or a voucher.
Any open fees will be deducted from the refund of the course fee.
